It is a heart warming story of a man in a midlife crisis, and the six-year-old girl who brings him back from the brink of suicide and gives him a reason to live. The story revolves around Rameshwar . an accountant at a local post office in the hills. He gets tired of loneliness after the demise of his mother. He feels that all his happiness is gone with his mother. Rameshwar gets under depression and even tries to attempt suicide. However, he fails in his attempt. Then, a little girl named Mishti enters his life. She is abandoned by her father and is without her mother. The duo forms a beautiful bond that lasts over 15 years.
